We manage to escape disaster. We catch our breathes while we recap what just had happened. "Bro..." Sean says catching his breathe, "We lost him." "Come on Sean there's to much at stake here for us to stop here." I replied in just as much shock as he was. "Yeah.. your right.." the already short conversation ends with an awkward silence and we're on our way in the empty halls.
Slowly as we carefully walk through the disease infested halls, which at one time was filled with people moving files and operating the facility but now it's just a lifeless hall with lights that every once in a while would flicker back on, I try to begin another conversation to get our mind away from the painful memory of what had just happened, "How's Sara?" I ask. "You know.. She's crazy" we both chuckle at the comment and look down. "And you? How's Andy?" he asks me about the girl I was trying to talk to. "You know she's still gangster like Lil Kim,.." before I continue he finishes my sentence off "Sexy like Alicia Keys?", we both finish it off with a gran finale by using some of our vocal talent by singing the last part of that line from "So Sexy" "She Cooler than a summer breeze!" "Hahaha!" Both of us laughing and doing the "Homie Fist Bump", we both continue with that and almost as if it where planned we both say, "Bromance!". We chuckle some more almost disregarding the situation we where in and he gives me a friendly push on the shoulder.
"Dude aint this funny? One second we're caught up on a girl we met, the next we's to busy trying to save the world." "For real though." I pause and breath in to continue "Some Mickey Mack's right now sound real good, you know what I'm thinkin' of right now?" "Heck yeah bro!" Both with a sigh of hunger "Hot-N-Spicy's!" Our walk seems to be taking forever but hesitant to get where we must we continue until;
"Thurunk!"
"Yo!" stunned I say, "Thurunk" then quickly I react "what was that?"
We both stop in our tracks and look desperately for what may have caused the noise. "I heard it over here lets go" Sean commands. "Thurunk! Thurunk! Thurunk!"
"Crap bro! What's happening?" I yell out

We activate our pulse assault rifles.
"Bwhaaa!"
"Whoa!" Sean and I both get stunned with what we where witnessing! the same creature that took down Jordan was going for us. It swings it's excruciatingly large claw down, "Shing!"
We dodge them. "Shing! Shing! Shing!" relentlessly it continues swinging!
"Come on Sean! Lets go!!" I yell out as I open a door. "No!" he replies.
"What? Why!"
"Bwhaaa!"

Sean picks up a tool case which was laying on the floor and throws it at it. "Bwhaa" it cries. Sean takes aim at it and shoots it "Beum! Beum!" Direct hits but not enough to take it down. I manage to shoot it from behind but still it isn't enough! It goes for me now. "Bwhaa!" the evil beast tries attacking me now, "Shing! Shing!" it manages to push me back enough to knock back. I'm on the floor trying to get up but just can't. I'm on my back crawling. My back is to a wall. The creature lifts it's claws.It swings down!
"Pwhoosh!" It's limb is blasted off.
Sean yells to me, "Shoot off it's limbs!"
The creature steps back. Quickly I grab the rifle and get up!
"Pwhoosh!" I get it's other claw "Pwhoosh! Pwhoosh!" Sean gets it's legs. "Bwhaa!" the creature cries out as it lays the there bleeding out dying. "Close one" Sean tells me. Fist bump once more this time almost making sure that we weren't going crazy with all this action. Taking a good look at the creature we see it was once a human. The disease it caught got to the poor human and mutated him. It helped him grow two giant claws. Its human head was still on him. He had dog tags telling us that at one time that "thing" was once a respected man in the army. I pick them up and show them to Sean.
"Check it out", "Dang. Respect" he tells the human corps. "We're sorry brother." The man wasn't really his brother but we've always had massive respect for people from the army.

"Yeah don't worry about me I can keep my cool"
"Kay" I tell him as I finish typing. I'm about to get ready to open the door, we look at each other already knowing what we're thinking and we do the agreeing nod, we take a big breath in and expel it. I press the button then the door slides open.
"Fiew... Tshh.." the door slides. We look at the empty laboratory. Walking steady we walk to the back of the room where we heard someone tearing and wheeping. We walk up to her. I ask her, "What's up?" Doesn't really say anything. Then looks up.
"Your doomed!" she tells me.
"What?" I ask but She runs away. Both, Sean and I, look at her run off. Then she stops.
"Mwach!" A giant mouth swings down and eats her in one gulp.
"Whoo!" We both shout And start shooting at it. We seems like if it was stepping back.
"We're doing good! Keep it going Sean!" I yell out
"Heck yeah!" Sean cheers back to me.
"Bwhaa!" we're caught off guard. I stop shooting. "Crap" I shout out. Another creature like the one that we just took down knocks me back. This time I knew what to do. I get back my balance and shoot of it's legs and other limbs. It was down.
"Yeah!" I cheer for myself and turn around. "Crap!" My cheer is shut down from the fact that Sean was down on the floor shooting yet another creature like the one that attacked us.
"Sean!" I cry out to him. "Stay calm! I'll help you!"
"Don't! It's to late for me! Don't worry finish the mission!"
"Not without you! Your my Xiong di!" I run towards him as he lays on the floor about die. I hear his heart beats before;
"Sean!" the last words he heard from me.
More of those creatures come out. In a rage fueled rampage. I begin blasting rounds after rounds. I do good until I run out of ammo.
"Crap.." I say as the beasts come towards me.
"Bwhaa!" I hear.
Life Saver-
About to tear my body apart, Sean asks me, "Mac Deezy's?"
"Heck yeah! Lets roll!" I reply to him. I drop the controller, stand up, and stretch. Get going for my next mission. "Hey have you ever thought that we take some stuff way to seriously?" I ask him while we walk and enjoy the beautiful spring day. "Well... No." he replies. "Hmm.. Cool" Just like that the conversation ends yet we begin singing random songs we heard once.
We arrive at two the famous golden arches and of course there's a cute cashier. Sean and I look at each other but don't say anything. It's our turn to order
"Aight so; I want some hot-n-spicy's, some cokes, and your number" Sean tells her and ends it with a wink. She frustratingly ignores him.
"Dude your stupid! get a seat or something be useful for once" I tell him and push him back "Perdon mi amigo es medio menso. Sabes?" I continue talking and notice that she had pretty dark brown eyes.
"Huh?" She giggles and continues with "I don't speak speak Spanish" She tells me. "What! Oh I'm sorry you just seemed like you did. I'm sorry about that but yeah pardon my friend he's sometimes weird. Anyway..." I look at her name tag "Aurora I'd like..." I ask for the hot-n-spicy filled order. She giggles once more and tells me the total.
I begin to walk away and give Sean our "And that's how we do it" look. Then from behind me I hear "Excuse me what's your name?" I turn around and go back to her and begin a "B.S.'d" conversation about my name and after a few seconds of that I give her my name. I begin to walk to the table Sean got. we look at each other and he asks, "Now?" "Nope hold up" I reply to him.

"Dude Isn't it funny how almost all of our memories happened in a McDonald's?" I ask Sean. "For real though!" He tells me back. "Like remember last... wait what was it? Like two months ago?Anyway! Dude I didn't think this little trick would work three times!" He talks about how the week before we both snuck out of acting class.
I remembered that day so well. It was the first time we played this little game of flirting with the cute cashier. It was always Sean to get the number and we messed around so many times about how I just wasn't as cute as he was so the "formula" we had made wouldn't work with me. Today was "Special" since he had finally found the "love of his life." Oh well at least I had fun pulling off this stunt.
"Yeah and then there's always all those times when we would bring Jordan and we'd get kicked out for being to 'Loud' remember?" I reply to his comment.
Jordan was a special person to us who for some reason always talked when he wasn't supposed to talk. Eating was no exception.

This has turned into our usual routine; School, McDonald's, finish school, video games, McDonald's, LDI, and go home until the next day. This day we're preparing for our next concert which could lead into a great explosion of more and more concerts.
"Oh man lets see how far this goes!" Sean says. I just simply reply, "Shut up" as I begin to text her back.

This has turned into our usual routine; School, McDonald's, finish school, video games, McDonald's, LDI, and go home until the next day. This day we're preparing for our next concert which could lead into a great explosion of more and more concerts.
The LDI is a combination of media; there's audio recording studio, dance studio, modern art studio, graffiti studio, and tons of computers for nerds who love that kind of stuff. The most important one is the dance studio because it is where we practice for concerts, performances, and also just chill there for a while.
"Are you ready to dance?" Sean asks. "Bleh! Those Hot-N-Spicy's don't go down so easily." I tell him. "Ah gross!", "Shut Up" I end that conversation before it got any worse.

"Ready?" Sean tells me as we start making new choreography to "Transform Ya". We began with the first move and had to start it off powerful. "In all honesty I feel pretty lazy right now.." I tell him. We worked hard on, as we usually do, but it seemed to be taking way to long. I go to the laptop where we were playing the music off of and switch the track.
The beat to the other track drops. "Dude we gotta get on this the performance is in two weeks!" Sean tells me but we both knew we've done way more in less time, so I don't change the song. We blow off the entire night of practice just lip syncing songs that when we listen to them we feel like we're that much closer to making it "To the Top!" Ironically that's our favorite song to rap and sing to. We grab our phones and somehow magically turn into mics, the wall full of mirrors that we use to see our moves turn into a crowd of people ecstatic to see us perform.
Going down-
The next week we weren't as pumped up. In fact we didn't even have an emotionally scarring round of brain cell killing video games. We got home and walked straight to McDonald's. Aurora wasn't in front counter today so we had to pay for our own drinks and fries. We didn't walk back and have small talk with the cashier, we didn't sit down and walk back for buffalo sauce, it was just a bad day. We sit down and with our faces looking down on the tray we unwrap the sandwiches and start eating.
The silence was getting to him so he tried to begin a conversation. "Alright I'm sorry bro I didn't think that it would end this way" He began. "Bro do we even have to talk about this?" I was about continue when he interrupts, "Come on bro how are are we not going to talk about this? Dude the entire car ride up here you had a heavy foot on the petal, you came here didn't even see the girl behind you, we didn't even try to save the world. Your my best friend how can we not talk bout this?"he had a point. "Andy" I tell him.
"Andy?" "Yup Andy" "What happened this time?" I didn't want to tell him since I just felt like what happened was a re-run of a Mexican Novela. But sometimes when the Hot-N-Spicy's hit the spot, your spirit feels very lifted
"Well..." I begin the conversation and tell him how I felt like she screwed me over, all the stuff I did for her. I left all the fluff at the door because I told him everything that happened and how I almost felt heart broken, but luckily we had a lot of Spicy's and the conversation continued. This wasn't an ordinary conversation though we just left it all on the McDonald's tray because we talked about almost everything. We talked about the future, the past, and how we where dealing with the present.
"Aye what up guys!" Jordan so loudly interrupted and asked why we weren't at the LDI. We both look at the time it was six. "Whoops" I reply to him. He sits down and gets us some more Hot-N-Spicy's and he also joins the conversation. We leave two hours later.
Still.... Going Down-
"AHHH!" Sean, Jordan, and I all leave the place where we were supposed to have a concert. "What do you mean the show was canceled?" Jordan is talking to the person that got us the concert. "And you couldn't have told us this?... What do you mean you had to call other people? We have people that were supposed to grade us today!... Sorry? Yeah thank you!" Jordan hangs up. The words that came out of his mouth where a bit obscene. Seemed like we where listening to an Eminem song.
We start walking and a few minutes of silence happens before I get a smile on my face and start singing. "Ain't no stop! Ain't no stoppin' us!" Sean joins in, "Work to hard! Work to hard for this!" Jordan looks at us like if we were stupid. "Ain't no stoppin' us now! Gotta take this man! To the top!"
"We got this bro!" Sean tells Jordan and I. We're walking on Alameda while all the gangster Mexicans are cruising and across the street like if it where divine scheduling, we find a McDonald's.
"When the girl drops out on you, and the concert gets canceled.. We can always count on some good'ol Hot-N-Spicy's" I tell the guys and we make way to the golden arches
